October in Tuscany

Anticipation is building as we count down the days to our upcoming adventure. October holds a significant milestone for my brother, and it didn't take much persuasion to convince him to embark on a journey through the enchanting landscapes of Tuscany. We're currently planning our itinerary, a delightful mix of revisiting some of my all-time favourite spots and exploring new treasures.

Our carefully crafted agenda? Well, it's definitely going to be centred around one of life's most exquisite pleasures: wine…. Naturally.

We couldn't resist the allure of beautiful Montepulciano, a charming town renowned not only for its captivating ambiance but also for its delectable Vino Nobile wine. Our journey through the historic cellars of Contucci and Talosa promises to be an enlightening and palate-pleasing experience. and

But that's not all. Our adventure also includes two wineries that have piqued my curiosity for a while now. Villa Sant'Anna, known for its distinct feminine touch, and Salcheto, a champion of sustainable winemaking, are sure to offer unique insights into the world of Tuscan wine.

And for a carnivorous interlude, we're setting course for Panzano in Chianti, where we'll savour a sumptuous lunch at Dario Cecchini's renowned Officina della Bistecca.

A return visit to a gem that left an indelible mark on my heart a few years back: the family-run winery, Terre del Marchesato, nestled in the picturesque Bolgheri region. Serena and her team have a knack for making us feel right at home, and their wealth of oenological knowledge is nothing short of remarkable.

Next up, a place I've been longing to experience for quite some time: Torciano. What makes it even more special is that we'll be spending the night of my brother's birthday right here, amidst the vineyards and Tuscan charm.

Stay tuned for updates and a visual feast of photos in early November! Our Tuscan adventure is just around the corner, and we can't wait to share the magic with you.
